Annie Parker Foundation

Mission

To encourage individuals to learn, record and share their personal family history of cancer with health care providers, which will allow us to reduce the rate of underdiagnosed hereditary cancers in our communities.

Vision

To increase awareness about the importance of ancestry and family history in hereditary cancers.
To share knowledge about the two primary gene mutations – BRCA1, and BRCA2 and other gene
mutations, which are linked to increasing the risk of developing breast, ovarian, prostate, pancreatic and other cancers.
To encourage those with a family history of cancer to seek genetic testing and counselling.
To support, inspire and empower cancer patients, survivors and previvors and their families to thrive and live healthier lives.
