S.T.A.R.S.: Survivors Tell A Real Story!
On June 2, 2019, we greeted guests at the Living Arts Centre for the inaugural Annie Parker Foundation event — S.T.A.R.S.: Survivors Tell A Real Story!
Over 100 people, women, men and youth, made their way into the RBC Theatre where they heard eight compelling, real and sincere stories of our diverse range of survivors. These women epitomized what it means to start again to embark on a “second act”.

The event, hosted by Beverly Thomson, aimed to empower survivors, inspire others and connect people of various background ages and abilities– and we think we did just that! After the event, folks were welcomed into the grand atrium where they mingled with the S.T.A.R.S. of the show, ate great food and took lots of photos!
